Throughout their lives, the entrepreneurial couple have been committed to their values of "commitment, responsibility and meaning" - both professionally and privately. With enthusiasm, untiring commitment and support from his wife Rhéane, Felix Suhner has built up the small hotel group over the last few years. After 20 years in the operations, the graduate hotelier and trained chef decided to shift his tasks to the development of the hotel group. Together with his wife and the team of the Balance Familie, additional values for guests and hotels are created true to the vision of "living the good". Their passion is hotel architecture and the design of wellness oases. In their spare time, they find ideas for new concepts together with their two children at international trade fairs and in the hottest hotels at home and abroad.

This creates an image in the other person; an idea of what the Balance Familie is and embodies. That is why we have formulated binding guiding principles for our behaviour, which consist of three supporting pillars: Yes-philosophy (committed), clear leadership (responsible) and harmony (meaningful).
Already 150 years ago they met after the Aarau cattle market in the Mürset and sealed a successful trade with a "Halbeli" (half liter of wine). The Mürset has been a meeting place for 150 years. At that time it was the farmers, today the trendsetters, who like to be spoiled in one of the Mürset restaurants. Original pictures bear witness to this - where our terrace is today, there used to be the Aarau cattle market.
1991 Purchase of the Restaurant Mürset by Walter Suhner and integration into Seerose AG.
1997 Renovation and redesign of the Brasserie, the Weinstube and the Alte Stube.
Today the Mürset Restaurants are a separate stock cooperation and a member of the Balance Familie.
